For family-friendly beachside fun, it’s hard to beat Point Pleasant Beach.

The expansive beach is kept crystal clean and the Boardwalk is great for kids (of any age) with  dozens of rides along with games of chance, some of the most competitive miniature golf at the beach and Jenkinson’s Aquarium.

All of the required indulgences are offered along the mile-long Boardwalk, including waffles and ice cream, sausage and peppers, popcorn and cotton candy. There are numerous other dining opportunities, from on-the-go to full-service.

Off the Boardwalk, there’s year-round entertainment and dining centered along Arnold Ave., with choices including Uncle Vinnie’s Comedy Club and Europa South restaurant for Portuguese cuisine.

And if it’s not beach weather, don’t despair: Point Pleasant Beach is also an antiquers’ delight. Both Bay and Arnold Avenues have a number of spots to hunt for hidden treasures and the Point Pavillion Antique Centre offers over 40 dealers conveniently located under one roof. - visitnj.org

The Beach

One block west of Bradshaw Beach, a private beach with lifeguards and requires passes (12 Beach Passes are included with your rental), Please note that all swimming and sports at your own risk.

A few blocks to the north is the start of the Point Pleasant Boardwalk, filled with shops, eateries, and amusements. Other attractions nearby include golf, fishing, health facilities, and restaurants.

 
 

Nearby Attractions

Off the Boardwalk, there’s year-round entertainment and dining centered along Arnold Ave. Restaurants include some of our favorites, Spanos Italian, Atlantic Offshore, Red’s,  and Point Lobster restaurant for great seafood cuisine. For night life enjoy  Uncle Vinnie’s Comedy Club  and Jenkinson’s Boardwalk with live music.  Every Thursday Night in the summer enjoy live fireworks;  Grab a beach chair and head to the beach and look North. 

And if it’s not beach weather, don’t despair: Point Pleasant Beach is also an antiquers’ delight. Both Bay and Arnold Avenues have a number of spots to hunt for hidden treasures and the Point Pavillion Antique Centre offers over 40 dealers conveniently located under one roof. Enjoy great upscale shopping on many streets in the downtown center and be sure to visit the award winning Last Wave Brewery

Activities and Adventures

The Beach – Sand and Surf on the world famous Bradshaw Beach lies just a block to the east. We include 12 Beach badges with our home rental. This beach has lifeguards in season.

Just a few blocks to the north you have the start of the famous Point Pleasant Beach Boardwalk. Our Boardwalk features carnival type games and rides along with an assortment of shops for souvenirs and restaurants. You can find clothing, jewelry, seashells, and all types of items to bring home with you.

There are many fine dining restaurants in Point Pleasant – Including many found on Zagat. There are also many more casual places, such as pizza restaurants, sub shops and delis, and of course great catering from places like Joe Leone’s . Cousin Vinnie’s Comedy Club and night clubs along the boardwalk as well will keep your nights busy. You can dine while watching the waves or dance till 2 AM at the rocking Jenks or Tiki Bar both with live bands and right above the sand overlooking the beach and ocean. No need to worry about driving as our home is just a few blocks away.

Just a few short blocks away, you can find basketball courts and tennis courts available. Play a fast game and come back and jump in the pool! Bike riding is permitted on the boardwalk early in the morning. If you didn’t bring your bikes, they are easy to rent!

If you love to shop, Arnold Avenue in Point Pleasant Beach has some wonderful boutiques and stores to interest everyone. Clothing, shoes, jewelry, home décor, and furniture are just a part of the abundant shops available to you. Stop along your way for a delicious snack or cocktail at the many restaurants in town. Then take a wonderful massage or spa treatment at any one of our spas and salons. Pt Pleasant is an Antique shopper’s paradise.

Just a mile or so away at the Manasquan inlet there are many charter boats available for fishing trips and jet skis for rent. There is even a parasailing adventure you can enjoy! Public 18 hole Golf is just a few miles away with several levels of courses to challenge any golfers.

If that isn’t enough, there are Outlet Malls just about 20 miles away, along with Six Flags Great Adventure Theme Park (in Jackson just 40 minutes away) close by. And Atlantic City is just about an hour away!
